Review: In this tantilizing read, you simply can't get enough. And thank god Anna Godberson wrote a sequel. I swear I was glued to this novel for an entire weekend. This beautifully composed historical fiction/romance left me dying to read more. I recommend The Luxe to any fairly-advanced reader, because honestly, it was a hard read. I normally stick within the Fantasy/Sci-Fi genre, but the Luxe took me for a dramatic ride into a new genre I never expected to like at all. The next book in the series is called Rumors, which in my opinion was just as good, if not better. To follow that came Envy, and lastly Splendor. They were all equally as engaging and thriller and over-all addicting. The author's other novel, Bright Young Things, starts a new series, which goes by the same name, and though it is only the first book out, it was nearly flawless and almost as perfect as The Luxe.
