       I absolutely loved I Don't Want to Be Crazy. It is an amazing story about a girl and her life with anxiety attacks. The book begins right before Samantha's freshman year of college. At first she is fine but as the stress from packing, moving, unpacking, and school begins she starts having anxiety attacks. During the book she goes through four years of school, a lot of different therapists, and adventures (like going to Paris). This is a true story and keeps you hooked until the end.

I highly recommend, City of Bones by Cassandra Clare.

The setting of the book is in present day New York, and the main character is Clary Fray. Clary has lived her whole life as a normal teenager with normal teenager problems. But then, she is suddenly aware that the world is not all human after all. She also comes aware that she herself is not a normal human either. In fact, she is far from it. She’s a shadow hunter. This means she contains angel blood.

Then, she meets Jace. He is also a shadow hunter and is much more experienced. Obviously, Jace and Clary fall in love. It was bound to happen right? Well, when Jace gets “kidnapped”, and Clary goes to get him back, something totally unexpected happens. Turns out, Clary and Jaces’s father is there. Yes, that’s right they have the same father! Or at least you think they do until the third book, which is terrible!

Okay, I understand that Cassandra Clare had to throw something in there to mix things up, but I still hated it. It was torture not to see them together and to see them struggle with not being together too.

I loved this book because not only did it have awesome Jace, but it also had vampires, romance, and…faeries! My favorite J

City of Bones is definitely a 5 out of 5 because of the reasons listed above. I usually don’t buy books because I read them to fast and I don’t usually read them again unless they are really good. This one was, so I bought it.

I like the way the author didn’t just focus on Clary, but also switched to the thoughts of Jace, and her best friend Simon.

Cinderella Society

Cinderella Society

I rated it 4 out of 5 because it was a fun read and reminds me of a spy. Also, this book has nothing to do with Cinderella. It has some mythology in it but its in the middle of the book. Some names you might recognize are Athena & Isis.


Jess  receives a special invitation to the Cinderella Society and finds it's a secret hide out with everything from sleepovers to makeup follows. She figures out it's not all fun and games when she gets her first....mission so to say she has to stop Lexy.

Lend encourages her to look deeply in herself  to uncover the truth about what she really is. She may be falling for Lend, but what about the gorgeous yet arrogant Reth? With her life suddenly at stake and her heart torn between two incredibly enchanting boys, Evie's story is one that will keep you up late at night and not be able to put down.

I rated this book a five because is has all of my favorite things in one book; vampires, faeries, and romance! I absolutely fell in love with the characters. Some people say, "well how can you be in love with them if you don't know what they look like?". But you do know, if the author is descriptive enough. Kiersten White was, therefore i knew what the main guy looked like and i knew his personality so I was in love!
